You’ll know it’s time to get a new roof if:
Your roof is 20-25 years old. Asphalt shingles have a life span of 20-25 years
You see granules and sludge in the bottom of your gutters or down spouts, showing a breakdown of the asphalt shingles.
You find parts of shingles lying on the lawn or in the driveway.
Your roof is missing shingles, blown off by the wind (Even if you don’t replace the entire roof right away, be sure to replace the missing shingles!)
You see moisture stains in the inside of your house, especially in an area near an exterior wall
Your roof is damaged by hail, making it more likely to leak
You’ll know it’s time to replace your windows if:
You feel a draft coming through the window. The window lost its energy efficiency.
The windows are more than 20 years old.
The widows are single pane, with aluminum storm windows. Energy-efficient replacement windows will pay for themselves in heating and cooling savings.
The windows are foggy and hard to see through.
You’ll know it’s time to replace your siding if:
The siding looks faded or beat-up
You are ready to replace your high-maintenance wood siding
Woodpeckers are making holes in the wood siding
You are ready for a fresh look and better curb-appeal
We don’t believe in sales gimmicks like 2 for 1 windows and doors. Instead, we believe in common-sense, straight-forward pricing. We provide competitive, affordable estimates and can generally match our competitors’ prices.
Most municipalities do not require a building permit for these home improvement projects.
We realize that roof and siding replacement can disrupt your household or business routine. We take pride in being considerate and efficient. We can roof a home in just one day. Siding requires 3-5 days, depending on the project. We’ll confirm our schedule with you before we start.
Culbertson Construction is fully insured. We carry workers compensation, general business liability insurance, and vehicle insurance on all of the vehicles that enter your driveway. The state of Wisconsin does not require residential construction companies to be bonded.
Typically, we schedule our projects 1-2 weeks out, depending on the time of year. For emergency work, we often have the flexibility to adjust our schedule to suit the client’s needs.
Yes. Culbertson Construction installs aluminum seamless gutters and downspouts. We also install two types of gutter covers: micro-mesh or spring guards.
Aluminum-clad doors and door frames are more durable and longer-lasting than wood-clad doors. Aluminum is also more expensive. A wood-clad door and door frame require more maintenance. For example, they require repainting after 10-15 years. Culbertson Construction installs aluminum-clad or wood-clad Therma-Tru exterior doors and entry doors.
Culbertson Construction serves residential and commercial customers located within a 50-mile radius of Green Bay. We go anywhere from Neenah and Menasha in the south to Oconto County and Door County to the north.
Choosing Culbertson Construction is a smart decision. First, you will be dealing directly with owner Ben Culbertson, not some sales guy.
